I 'Like' It

Friday, 30 March 2012

I'm currently getting ready for a weekend of fairs, Spitalfields tomorrow, Covent Garden on monday but in the mean time I have a favour to ask from you! I've just got my Facebook page properly up and running and if you could take a minute to click 'like' on the page I would be forever in your blogging debt. If you even feel like sharing the page with your friends then dinner is on me.

Kew 2

So the reason behind yesterdays post was that I was shooting a mini lookbook for my website. I think I just wanted an excuse to visit Kew Gardens as it's one of my favourite places to visit in London and by the end of the day I ended up with some lovely images. Along with lots of strange shots of jewellery balancing on tropical plants I also ended up with a couple of random photos that remind me why I can spend all day happily walking round Kew. kok
Shorts - Zara, Leather jacket - Zara, Top - Zara, I'm seing a pattern forming... Boots - M&S

Ignoring the silly face, here's a quick post of my outfit from yesterday, backpack and all. The shorts pictured above are the shorts spoken about in this post. I really like them, they're comfortable and not too short like I'd hoped. The past few days have been so warm I've already managed to get quite a lot of wear out of them. But anyway, there's a reason I'm carrying a backpack full of jewellery around Kew Gardens which I'll save for tomorrow's post.

Alive & Kicking

Monday, 12 March 2012

There is finally a good reason behind my lack of blogging which I'm sure you've probably figured out from the image above. No one told me this before I started, but setting up a website consumes you. I mean seriously consumes you to the point here all you can think about is html, css, dns servers, and most of the consumption is working out what the hell all of the above even means. However two weeks later and thanks to a lot of help from web developers Aarcade my website is almost done. I've got a few items up to test it all out and see what still needs tweaking but so far everything seems to be working well.

Next up on my road to antique domination is a young enterprise course I'm starting tomorrow, which is hopefully going to teach me all about the financial/promotion side of running a business, something which I am completely clueless about. It's a week long course and once thats done I'm looking forward to having some time to blog again and not be sucked into the world of web design. Until then be sure to check out the website. All comments/suggestions are welcomed!
